Based in Los Angeles, the newly re-designed, Implants.com is committed to providing the latest information and resources necessary for potential patients and doctors to better communicate. Researching health issues on the Internet has more than quadrupled in the past two years and so have the number of web based health sites.

The vision at Implants.com is to better inform the patient but certainly not to raise expectations by providing only the positive aspects of implant options. Each specialty page contains the possible advantages as well as the disadvantages of each procedure. Our goal is to provide adequate information for the patient to enable an advanced understanding of his or her wants to enable better communicate with the doctor during the consultation.

Implants.com is committed to addressing the issue of "surgery candidacy". Potential patients who fill out forms for a doctor referral or know everything about a procedure do not constitute a good surgery candidate. Implants.com acknowledges the fact that "Surgery candidacy" can only be determined after a doctor consult when all aspects of the procedure will be discussed. Knowing the costs, the risks, and viewing before and after photos prior to surgery is helpful but there are many other health and psychological factors involved.
